This award-winning family resort located right in the heart of Surfers Paradise is perfect for families looking for a relaxed and fun stay. There are plenty of attractions and activities to keep everyone entertained, including two water parks, an arcade, a bistro and a cafe. This place was incredible ! Family friendly ! So many things for the kids to do! Endless entertainment for children. Great water park, hourly activities. Rooms were standard but still great. Only 10 minutes walk to surfers paradise blvd. staff so friendly and meals were delicious. We will be going back for sure.

I'd say the reviews are pretty spot on.4 stars for the water park. Although the other attractions in the park were closed. The kitchen and dining areas were good. The rooms are lucky to get 1.5 stars. The kids may as well have slept on the floor. The foam mattresses were paper thin, we had to make the beds ourselves, and the mattress protectors were old vinyl curtains.

First of all, I think it is important to say we visited during the week, term time and at end of May so chilly mornings and evenings and booked on a 30% off deal - paying $600 for 3 nights including parking and breakfast which we felt was a very good price. This is 100% a kids resort, no relaxation for grown ups but I do think there a fixing that with an 18+ over area. We probably would visit again at this price but only during term time as I would a) not want to visit paradise resort at full capacity and b) I would not pay more that $200 a night unless there were significant improvements made to the resort. Overall, our children had a wonderful time which was the most important thing for us.The room was fine - very basic and run down, but clean enough. However the pillows were plastic and hard and made it impossible to sleep well, the temperature controls on the showers made the shower difficult to use.The jungle gym was wobbly and run down and could be improved significantly but it was clean. The pool and splash parks were the best part for the children, we packed their wetsuits knowing that the pool would be cold which was a lifesaver. Considering we visited at low capacity, there was easily 25 people in the hot tub at once which was very off putting - especially with grown men inside drinking cans of beer (which is obviously a huge health hazard). They need to increase the warmth of the pool so children and adults can actually swim in it.The kids free activities were okay, the girl who ran them did a fantastic job but the actual activities were fairly basic. We all enjoyed the outdoor films and the trivia was really good too.Food wise, we tried burger, pizza and ice cream sundaes - mediocre and overpriced. However, it is very easy to walk to some wonderful restaurants at surfers paradise which we opted to do. The burger my son said was not nice and left it. The pizza was good though and we all enjoyed that. The ice cream sundaes were a bit sad and overpriced. The continental breakfast was fine, coffee was mediocre but I think the options available (toast, pastries, fruit, yogurt, ham and cheese, cereal) should be increased to hot food at $50 a day. We did order a cooked breakfast for $15 on the 3rd day as I couldn't face another sweet breakfast, which was pretty good. We did also have a couple of cocktails at the bar one evening which were very nice but expensive. We used the free voucher we were given for kids club - we left our children for two hours. I completed a form online before attending and selected that my child had a disability as she is autistic. Although there was a mix ups with the forms and the staff made an error, I was happy that my daughter was treated equally and the staff allowed her to be herself. Both the children seemed to enjoy their visit to kids club.I like how the schedule was displayed in many areas on screens and the accessibility using online services was very good. Great location, we walked to the beach every day which is just stunning. I think the resort could easily be a 5 star visit with overall improvements.

Great resort, kids had a ball, and we loved kids club, where we got some adult time and our kids had 3 hours of fun.We got the package with breakfast, dinner, and kids club. It was a great deal and worth it in our opinion.Make sure you check out the activities before you arrive, and book kids club as soon as you check in to avoid missing a spot.My kids loved some of the competitions, and got free ice cream vouchers, which they enjoyed too. This will definitely become our place to stay at the Gold Coast. We usually stayed in apartments previously, and although the rooms here are tiny, you really are only sleeping there. Missed having laundry here compared to most apartments on the Gold Coast...but other than that having the rooms cleaned daily was amazing. The towels were swapped for dry towels at the press of a button.... really useful after swimming. The spa was beautifully heated.Service was great. Most staff are Brazilian and so friendly, which is a nice change in Australia, which is generally not a service orientated country, so we loved this service. All up 5 star resort for families, and a great weekend away.

First time staying here with my child and family member. We all had an absolute great time! The kids club is amazing highly recommend and the staff are so lovely and accommodating. Water play area is amazing and all the activities are great fun! Highly recommend. Rooms are a tad small but can’t fault anything! Already planning another holiday here

Stayed three nights and that was enough! The rooms were too outdated and gross for my likings! The kids loved the freezing cold pool and the play areas! Therefore I was happy to see them happy! The staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was wellCatered for however the rest of the food was average! A lot to pick from just didn’t taste that great more like a schoolCamp! However, like I said my young kids liked it so that is all that matters to me.

Staff are so friendly and food are yummy too. resort is not that old as people said. I can see they keep maintaining everything. my room is pretty new. We will be back again next holiday.

This is a great family resort with clean rooms, themed to make it exciting for kids. Comfortable beds and the food at Penguins restaurant is top notch. We tried a different meal each night and were never disappointed. The kids had a great time but were a bit disappointed that the games arcade room was being renovated. It will be excellent once finished.

Great customer service experience 👍 We have been here twice with our children. Both times the staff please all needs. You never have to go looking for someone if you need something for your room etc. The staff are all located right there. Rooms are spacious, modern, serviced & cleaned every day. There is so much for kids to do. The restaurant & bar have everything from cocktails to seafood platters, pizzas, burgers, salads, jellys, and decadent delicious desserts. It's non-stop entertainment for kids & even an ice skating rink & kids club room. We enjoy the trivia games played a few times throughout the day. The kiosk staff are very nice. Best kids resort on the Gold Coast 🔆🏄‍♂️🌊

This is a perfect family-friendly place to stay. The entertainment and activities are great. They have other activities at a small extra cost which are also great! The continental breakfast was terrific, definitely more than expected. Staff were amazing and friendly. Short walk to the beach and into the mall. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon!

We had the most remarkable family experience here. What an amazing holiday for my children and I. They (we) were non-stop fun & go, go, go (morning to night). We have fallen in love with Paradise Resort and the wonderful memories we have created here. The additional activities are a lot of fun (free & paid). We stayed for 5 nights but would love to stay for longer next time, AND there definitely will be a next time for us. This is the ultimate children's paradise. My kids did not want to leave Paradise Resort. The service has also been outstanding, giving our holiday that extra special holiday feel and touch. Thank you so much. Coming here has been the best experience, and the fun did not stop! Highly recommend staying here.

The hotel has real potential for kids but when you look at other options on the Gold Coast this place is a bit behind. The bad stuff:1. Noise - Avoid the rooms near the front, the road noise is crazy. In between room noise is also annoying, we can nearly hear everything going on upstairs, including them using the bathroom.2. The rooms need an update, the room smelt stuffy, rusty bath tub, toilet seat doesn't stay up, black mould in some parts of the bathroom, lacks power points and night lighting.3. The service generally was not to bad, except no housekeeping on a Sunday and when we asked for more towels they never arrived.4. Prices i thought were over the top for what you get / don't get and the prices for food especially the breakfast was not worth it. The prices of kids activities was also on the high end. Additionally then adding a 15% public holiday surcharge on top makes you feel like you are getting robbed. The Good Stuff:1. The pool and water parks were great, the kids will love it.2. Staff are very friendly3. The free pool side activities are pretty good and inclusive4. 10min walk to the heart of surfers paradise.

Kid friendly resort which is starting to look a bit old and tired although looks like some renovations are being carried out. Food outlets were adequate especially if you like burgers, pizza and chips. Great place if you only spend 2 or 3 days.

Shane N — Google review

Depends on room types, some room could be relatively old, but some are newly renovated. There is kids club that kids could have much fun with and the parents could have some "me" time. The location is good, only 7 mins walking distance to the beach. The water park is super fun for kids, it is a must go while staying. Most staff are very friendly.

Henry H — Google review

The parking at this place is beyond a joke. No where near enough parking availability for the amount of rooms so we had no choice but to park on the very limited off street parking which were all 3hr zones. How ridiculous to expect families to walk 5-10 minutes to their vehicle with little children & babies. We ended up with a $200 parking fine for the off street parking as we exceeded the 3hr time limit which we found in the morning. Food and beverages were excessive in pricing and everything is a paid extra. No facilities in our room apart from a bathroom. Their policy states daily room servicing with change of towels, cleaning etc which was never done. I had to go to reception and ask for it to be done. There are loads of much better family friendly accommodation options out there with so many more inclusions and value for for money than what this place has to offer. Which is just about nothing. Rubbish experience. Would not recommend.

Destinee H — Google review

Have had some out best times staying here. We all get to have loads of fun, day & night while I (mum) still gets to relax by the pool while kids play, swim & participate in all the activities. Going to miss it when my son becomes too old for it :( The place we have spent more time at, than any other resort, I’m talking more than a dozen times. Absolutely love it :)

Nikki W — Google review

The staff were lovely and all the kids activities were amazing! The place was so kid friendly and we could happily spend days in between theme parks to relax by the pool but still have plenty of things to keep the kids busy. We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants etc. Our room was dated but it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely return when next on the Gold Coast.

What an amazing resort for both adults and kids alike. The kids had plenty of fun in the water park, hot and pool, but thought the kids club was a bit boring. The adults in our group really enjoyed the water areas as well as the daily trivia games and the cafe/bar.Pretty impressed with the dairy free options at the poolside burger and pizza cafes, however the continental breakfast is a bit disappointing for dairy free options.Loved our stay and will definitely be back one day.

Had a great time at paradise resort. Stayed for 3 nights and 4days. My daughter had a great time and we too as well. So many activities available and full on music.Just disappointed with the breakfast buffet, not much options to choose from. Ended up eating nothing and had to order separately again.Otherwise it was great.

CONS: Avoid the kids club baby room (<2yo). I dropped my 17mo to a room full of toys and he happily started playing. He and about 7 other babies were simply strapped into their prams in front of The Wiggles for at least 1-1.5hrs of the 3 hr session (confirmed by what other parents in our group saw at pickup times over that period). It wasn’t his nap/rest time - I had confirmed on drop off that he’d just had a big nap. He wasn’t even strapped in safely (they only attempted to secure 2 of the 5 point harness and even those weren’t even clicked in and just popped out). My kid is a climber so not one to usually sit in a pram unrestrained and often tips it over climbing out. It was so disappointing after having dropped him off to a room full of toys to see him sadly sitting in his pram. There shouldn’t even be a tv in a baby room.PROs: Great family friendly resort. My 4yo and 17mo loved the water park. Great activities and child friendly dining options. Rooms were a bit dated but comfortable and I was more there for the kids to have fun.Kids club was great for my 4yo who loved the spaceship playground,

All children’s activities had to be paid for as extras.Or children’s activities had to be booked including the iceskating rink which was only available for half an hour every two or three days.Very noisy environment no noise curfew.Room overlooking construction site of the same property still paying full price.Noisy plumbing throughout the whole building.Old foam mattresses on the children’s bed causing sleepless nights.Very basic breakfast buffet with no hot food available for $22 per person. No healthy food options available for children. However Staff were , Food services were very quick very well maintained and clean. No recommended for anyone with children seven over the age of 7.Parking not included in accommodation considering the price of the accommodation this is very poor. Parking was an extra $25 per night. This is a huge stretch for families who stay there for a minimum of a week.

Great resort for families. We stayed here for five days and had an amazing experience. Food was great and the kids club and water parks were so much fun for kids. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was so lucky to have a Mandarin speaking staff Ben at reception to assist us check-in and he explained us resort facilities, kids activities and also answered my questions so patiently. Will definitely recommend to my friend.

Helix D — Google review

Great experience with fantastic staff! The room was basic but it was made up for with the amount of activities on offer. The kids had a blast with the two water parks, pool and spa. Well worth a visit but be sure to stay a few days to be able to do a range of activities. Food prices surprised us in a good way and was very good quality and quantity. Be sure to book your additional activities that cost to avoid missing out!

This was our first time at the resort and we were thrilled to find so many facilities for kids. James at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful during check-in. He provided us with all the necessary information and went into detail about how we could make the most of our stay. James' warm and enthusiastic customer service made our experience even better. Thank you, James, for taking care of us and making our stay easier. We also utilized the kids club for our children. The entire team at the kids club was friendly and made us feel comfortable leaving our kids in their care. I highly recommend this service. Our baby had never been left alone before, so we were nervous. However, Phoenix, who was in charge of the 0-2 year olds, was amazing. She was nurturing and made sure our son was well taken care of. She even provided us with updates so we could enjoy our day and night. Thank you, Phoenix, for your nurturing care this weekend.

Upon our arrival, we noticed some areas of concern:Hair was visible under the vanity, which seemed to be from previous guests. The tiles at the entry felt sticky and appeared to be unclean. The magazine provided on the desk had a sticky residue on it.The door handle had a greasy or slimy texture. The wardrobe door was off its rails, which posed a safety hazard, especially as it nearly caused an accident with my 4-year-old.There was an unidentifiable sticky substance on the balcony floor. The TV remote also had a slimy residue on it.I understand that Paradise Resort caters to families and children, but given the premium rates charged, we expected a higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. I believe that regardless of being a kids' resort, guests should experience a clean and comfortable environment. My daughter did have her fourth birthday in the Pamper Parlour and it was an outstanding experience. The hosts were incredible and my daughter and her friends had a wonderful time.

Karina F — Google review

Fabulous family resort with plenty to keep you entertained all day. There is no better place to take your children for an experience like this. Paradise resort offers everything and more. Our kids went ice skating, rock climbing, cooked, made teddy bears, rode the train and carousel, went to kids club, got their hair braided, enjoyed the many different foods and drinks and super fun activities on stage each day. We had fun family times trying to get on the podium for the kahoots, and loved singing away to the music and karaoke nights. Our kids made great friends through this process and had a fabulous time. The staff are so entertaining in their own right and have other talents they bring to their role at the resort. The resort is very lucky to have people who have these added talents such as Chris the magician and Bobby the musician. We had a wonderful stay and I would recommend Paradise Resort a million times over to anyone.

Highly commendable. My kids love it here and so do I. The staff are very entertaining and engage with children really well. To top off our wonderful stay, the staff in the restaurant offered to sing our daughter happy birthday and present her with her birthday cake - after we merely asked for something to light her candles with... above and beyond!

Benny L — Google review

The rooms are nice, the location is very good, walkable distance from the city and all the attractions, also the facilities are perfect for kids. However I found the restaurant overpriced, especially breakfast and the choices they had for breakfast buffet. But overall the place is very nice for families

Iulia S — Google review

When we first checked in on a Sunday the pool, spa and both water parks were over capacity, we couldn’t even walk to the hallway to get to our rooms as there was a party positioned in a very narrow walking space, the rooms are extremely outdated and have paint peeling off the walls, the bathroom has no exhaust fan, freezer part of the fridge does not work. We didn’t get our room serviced the first day, the second day they didn’t put bin liners in the bin. No drying rack for wet bathers. Beds are comfortable and tv is a good size. The staff are very friendly and there is entertainment for the children each night, our children 9 and 10 are just young enough to enjoy this entertainment but any age beyond this would struggle. The kids club is really great, the staff are wonderful with the children. Pizzas are great but all the other food we’ve ordered has been overpriced and not tasty and cold, you’re better off ordering Uber eats to enjoy at the end of a busy day at the worlds. Alcohol prices are exorbitant in the resort, you can buy refillable cups for the children, $10 per cup and you’ll be able to refill for $4 per refill. No pool specific towels available, you can get white bath towels from the reception desk to use around the pool and swap out when wet. The indoor playground is for younger children only. It is a tired resort with one small pool which does not cater for the amount of people. We wouldn’t stay here again but for a family looking for cheap accommodation with entertainment this one will tick that box.

We had the BEST time at Paradise Resort with our family. We stayed in the newly renovated Dusty's wing and it was wonderful. Very clean and super comfy beds. Our kids absolutely loved the pools and waterpark- we spent hours there! The restaurants on site were great - the pizza was especially amazing. Staff were all friendly and seemed like they actually enjoyed being there which we appreciated. We didn't use the kids club but it was nice that it was there as an option and other guests told us that their kids loved it. The arcade was fun downstairs. My daughter loved getting her hair braided like a mermaid and doesn't want to take it out! We stayed for 2 nights and got offered complimentary late checkout at 4pm which was so nice - I have never had that at any hotel I have stayed at.There were several things we didn't get a chance to try like the carousel and ice skating rink so we will be back! You don't need to leave the resort - everything is there - and Surfers Paradise is pretty run down and not that exciting to be honest.Highly recommend for families.

A special shoutout to Eddie, the manager—his service was outstanding and truly made our stay even better.** I wouldn’t recommend the continental buffet—it’s not worth it, see prices and all food available - 09/2024 **

A paradise for children. I cant recommend this kid friendly resort highly enough for young children and families. There was so much to do at the resort we didn't have to leave if we didn't want to.Big water park area, pool, hot tub, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, train ride carousel and the list goes on.My boys aged 6 & 4 had the time of their lives. Can't wait to go back.I recommend booking a aqua view room (there are different options of rooms depending on your price range) and getting meals included in your package for convenience as rooms only have a fridge, microwave and kettle. It was great to not have to worry about preparing meals.I travelled as a single Mum with 2 boys and found everything easy and accessible at the resort.

Athena A — Google review

For the price we paid, we definitely expected a little more. First on arrival, our room was right down the hall from the rooms getting construction done, no email to tell us that there would be construction, we booked months in advance and a little warning would have been nice. Next the under 5 splash zone was closed the whole stay, our 3 year old was to scared to go in the big kid zone with how many children were in it, and was probably the only reason we actually chose the resort. The pool was small for the amount of people staying, couldn’t imagine what it’s like during the holiday period. The carpet around the pool smelt like urine. Our room itself was very outdated, faced a road and apartments, there was a little bit of mould in the bathrooms and all the walls to the rooms next door were paper thin, at 11pm you can here next door talking and the children screaming. Our fridge/freezer froze all the stuff we had in it, and had to be chucked out. At one point of our stay the water stopped working, don’t really know how long for, we left for the day and came back to it on. We walked into the ice rink and right back out, smelt like what a penguin enclosure smells of. Food was nice but pretty expensive and same with drinks. Staff were lovely, can’t fault the staff. We don’t really like complaining and are usually pretty easy going but considering how expensive the nightly rate/parking/food/drinks is, it was not worth it, and won’t be back anytime soon.

Definitely impressed by the facilities for the kids and how the resort caters to families even adults. There was maintenance that occurred with the big playground during our stay however they made up for it offering free things. The staff every where were outstanding. We definitely will be back with family!

I had a small issue with my previous room, called reception and they came up in few minutes to show me an other option, I was not expecting such a guest oriented experience.I also wanted to check where the laundry is, a lovely lady walked me to it, such happy staff.Cleaning was done everyday, I loved walking into this well done space. Couldn’t ask for me, amazing experience and really friendly staff.

Great resort for children. Inside and outside play areas. Kids club. Arcade. Splash parks. All great. But pools were a bit cold and the bin truck came every morning to empty the bins right outside our family room and woke us up. Rooms weren't very sound proofed so one way or another us and our children were woken up early which made for very tired children each day. Staff at the kids club were great. Was nice to have some child free time during our stay. Would come back again

It’s what you expect, great for kids. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Whole experience was as hoped for. Rooms are perfectly fine and felt modern. Food and drinks are great and are ready surprisingly fast. Kids loved it. Only improvement idea could be a heated pool for days when it’s cooler but tbh, it didn’t deter the kids.

We paid a bit extra for a bigger room, but was hands down worth it. The staff are friendly and great. Will go above and veyond to make sure parents are comfy and can unwind a bit. The event staff are great at keeping the kids occupied, Good Job. Room was tidied every morning. Fresh made bed every night, couldn't be buggered doing that at home. Haha. All round heaps to do at the resort and plenty of activities within 20 walk of resort. Bonus was, the beach only a couple hundred metres away.Great time. Thanks for the stay Paradise Resort.Remember go and make your own experiences. My opinion is just that.

So glad that we made a decision to try out this resort. Agreed with some reviews that some rooms are yet to be updated. Our room did look tired and dated however it was super clean and the bed was comfy!!!In terms of how family friendly this resort is I don’t think I have to describe much…The water park - younger kids can spend half a day thereRock climbing and ice skating and laser tag - these are all on site, so fun and convenientMy girl particularly liked the hair braiding experience a lot.Not to mention the kids club - one free session per day was truly a bonus for us as parents. However what made our trip the most memorable was truly customer service. We indeed could not believe how clean the place was - even for the indoor playground beside the reception, they do cleaning two times a day! Outside the room - everywhere was clean and was so well-maintained.Apart from the cleanliness, the exceptional service provided by some of the staff members like Roy and the guy who was in charge of many activities like rock-climbing and laser tag… we appreciated it very much. Their smiles and their enthusiasm have made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.Overall - we enjoyed the stay very much.

The resort in general was great for kids. But the rooms are a HUGE let down.Ours had an awful smell, room service was lacking every day, the carpets were filthy (if you don't want stained socks, keep your shoes on)It's a shame that there isn't a better way to prepared snacks for kids in the room, with Utensils being very minimal. Even just a toaster would be helpful. We were all very happy to leave and come home to our own beds!

We stayed at Paradise Resort for 9 nights with a 3 and 1 year old. It was okay but honestly would probably not stay again anytime soon. The whole resort is very run down, old and dirty. They are in the process of renovating but you would think the prices would be lower considering the state of the rooms. We stayed in a family room which was basic and old. A few cockroaches in the bathroom too.We booked here because we thought our kids would have a blast at the waterpark but unfortunately it isn't heated at all and the water is like ice it's so cold. My kids couldn't really swim because of this. The dining options were good and super convenient but super pricey. The indoor and outdoor playgrounds were great for older kids but not much catered towards toddlers. To be honest there are nicer places for much less money.Overall, okay but definitely not worth the money for us.

I won a holiday to Paradise resort with my work so had the pleasure of staying there over the weekend for my birthday. I found the reception very friendly upon check in and check out - very friendly and helpful. The lady gave me a couple of free drink tokens :)My daughter really enjoyed the playground inside and she absolutely loved the fairy floss as well. They do offer kids club which I thought was great however we never tried itThe coffee was delicious in the cafe bar area too.

Lisa T — Google review

There are enough negatives here that I wouldn’t recommend or stay again. The room we had which was $300 a night was massively overpriced for what it was. It was outdated, dark, smelt and there were stains on the carpet. We went to reception where they moved us to the first floor. This was slightly better but the rooms are still just massively outdated. The pools and water park are good, but cold and crowded. So while we enjoyed these I don’t think that it’s worth the money to stay there for that alone. Kids everywhere, parents drinking and on holiday from parenting. My daughter did the bear making workshop which she really enjoyed and the lady was lovely. However, at $55 - I feel like I this and a lot of the kids activities that you have to pay extra for are a bit of a money grab. Maybe $20-40 is a bit more reasonable. Or charge that tiny bit extra and throw in an activity or two - even the train / carrousel ride. The worst of it is the included breakfast which was the most dismal experience. Pastries, fruit, toast and cereal provided but no hot food unless you pay extra. This resort has all the makings of something that could be wonderful but let’s itself down by how outdated everything is and money grabbing for everything extra.I think you can get much better accommodation for the price around surfers.

We've stayed here 3 times now. Each time with a different number and combination of kids. Every time we've loved it. Younger kids love the freedom to move around like at a caravan Park. Parents love that you don't have to cook dinner. The pool isn't the warmest, not sure it's heated at all and gets very cold come 4pm when the sun has been blocked by buildings. The water park was good though.Staff are friendly and there's heaps of activities to do throughout the day.A short walk to the beach. My kids have all loved kids club over the years and the biggest shock of all... THE WIFI ACTUALLY WORKS AND IS UNLIMITED. A godsend when traveling with kids these days.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at the hotel, which we've come to consider the best family hotel in the Gold Coast. It was an incredible experience, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Charlene and Maddie. From the moment we arrived, their warmth and professionalism made us feel welcome. The food was not only delicious but also fresh, and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. Moreover, Charlene and Maddie went above and beyond to make my daughter's birthday extra special. Their thoughtful gesture of surprising her with a beautiful cake and ice cream truly made her day memorable. Additionally, the hotel's water parks, arcade, restaurant, and cocktails are amazing. Overall, our entire experience was nothing short of amazing, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Charlene and Maddie and the whole staff and team at paradise resort. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Resort activities, pamper parlour and kids club keeps the kids busy. So much to do. Rooms are comfortable and have interconnected rooms for larger families. Highly recommend

A great holiday with wife and Mr 3yr old. The activities for kids were AMAZING! Shout out to Laura, you were awesome. We were blown away by the resort and what it offered. The only downside was the colder than expected weather, so it meant not as much time in the pool as intended, but never mind!!!

This was the perfect holiday for a young family. Kids had a blast, we got a chance to relax. Would definitely book again. In house facilities and activities for the kids as well as easy access to surfers Paradise made this a perfect holiday with lots to do for everyone. Our package included a kids club session, which gave us a break. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even provided a stroller for us to take a walk at night. One of the best holidays we had as a family.

I’m going to start this review by saying this is not a 5 star resort, however anyone with young kids who needs some downtime without kids annoying you because they’re bored will love this place. We stopped off here for a night en route to Moreton Bay Island from Sydney and needed somewhere for the kids to let off some steam after being cooped up for 9 hours in a car. And did they let off some steam 😂The staff were great. Entertainment was great (although my 2 notes weren’t very interested in in Taylor Swift but the girls were going nuts for it!)Food and drinks were quite good and the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and there was parking on-site.Would recommend to families looking for a relaxing time with activities to keep kids busy.

We absolutely loved our visit to Paradise! The resort is super kid friendly with plenty of activities for the kids to do. The location is great and only a short walk to the main strip in Surfers. There were plenty of food options available including pizza, Mexican and general cafe/pub style food. The staff were all fantastic and we had exceptionally great experiences with Charlene, Adam & Gio who were all amazing with our little ones 😊 Highly recommend Paradise for a family friendly trip!

Couldn't fault any of the staff here. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and just lovely to interact with. Food was relatively good, not amazing but still nice however the truffle mushroom pizza....YUM!!! Always saw staff cleaning and keeping on top of things. Pretty happy with our stay overall.

The location was perfect. We got upgraded and the room we got was nice and updated. We went outside school holidays and it was nice and quiet. Hardly any wild children running around or screaming. They have sooo much to offer kids. The list each day was huge! My favourite time was around 3pm sitting by the pool, after a busy day the kids would play in the pool and on the water slides. Us parent's would sit in the banana lounge and play trivia games with other parents. Winning free drinks and vouchers.

It's indeed a kids paradise and love the whole concept of the kids club. There is just so much to do and from waterparks to jungle gym to hosting activities to carousel to face paint phew.... So much for the kids to do and get tired.Restaurants offer decent food items though bfast buffet needs upgrade compared to other similar hotels that offer warm food whilst here you have to pay additional.Overall a good weekend getaway for the kids.

Overall happy with our stay. The staff are lovely and there is heaps for young kids to do.Water playgrounds, pool, spa, outdoor playground, indoor playground area, trampoline, arcade($), other activities ($)The staff were all friendly and helpful. We stayed in a Captains Quarters Family room (studio with extra room attached)A few things to note:- The carpets were so dirty. Either need to be replaced or needs a very good clean. Babies crawl around on the floors so regular cleaning is required.- The lighting in our room was terrible, particularly the room with the bunk beds. I could barely read the words in my toddlers book for her before bed.- There were silverfish on the curtains.- The chlorine/ chemicals in the spa was very strong and the water was very hot.- For a family resort, I found it was all rather expensive. Most activities have a cost. (The water park/ pools/ playgrounds are free)We only stayed 2 nights but if we ate there for every meal each day, the food & drinks would have been around $250-$300/ day for 2 adults and a toddler.- The room we stayed in was outdated and could use a renovation.

3.5 stars. We stayed at paradise resort for 3 nights in a standard room. It had a queen size bed, a single and a roll out bed, with a kettle and bar fridge for amenities. The location is fairly central and it’s easy to access all the activities in surfers paradise with a short tram ride. From my kids point of view this holiday was 5/5 they loved the pool area with waterslides, spa and an under fives play area, the majority of their days were spent in the water! There is an outdoor playground a trampoline, giant chessboard and a basketball court accessible at certain times. There’s a small ice skating rink(extra cost). They also participated in multiple activities for an extra cost, such as bear building, snow globe making, cookie baking and bracelet making. There were multiple free activities that also took place poolside such as bean bag toss, trivia contests and various other games. Options became very limited when it rained; there’s a small indoor play area and an arcade(again $). We did not book them into kids club so I can’t comment on that. From my point of view the room was dated and dark, this isn’t news to anyone as the resort is currently undergoing refurbishments. We were comfortable enough, we were only in the room for sleeping. The staff were fabulous and very helpful. We didn’t opt for the buffet breakfast but did eat meals pool side most days, somewhat expensive but so is life at the moment. This holiday will be what you make of it, if you’re there to relax poolside and do nothing this isn’t the place for you, if you’re wanting a family holiday where you continue to parent and make fabulous memories for your kids that’s what you can expect. If you or your children struggle with sensory/auditory overload the pool area/ indoor play area can be a bit of a nightmare as it is very loud, so I suggest bring some earplugs and avoiding the pool area when the outdoor movies are playing.

Great family hotel.Provided alot of activity programs for the kids and offer a great water park. Recommend calling up earlier and booking car park as the parking is very limited.Breakfast buffet is fair for what is on offer, recommendation to buy from the cafe as food options are better.Plenty of the team around, so you will know if your kid is mis behaving...very pricey for a weekend stay. Generally at a amazing easy to get location 10 min from the main beach.

It was a great entertaining place especially for the kids. The food was nice. The rooms need better cleaning and are quite run down. When we got there, there was a mix up and we were given the wrong room type so had to check out the next day and check back in to the correct room. This was an inconvenience. The kids loved the waterpark and Dusty's safari train ride. They were never bored while there. The fun food and family package saved us a lot of money.

Great location, close to tram station, and bus stop right outside. Dusty Digs renovation beautiful, but we had a lot of road noise being right next to the intersection, especially early morning- would opt for an internal room next time. Would also prefer to go just out of peak season when it's a little bit warmer than it is at the moment, pool and waterpark too cold for our kids (and us). Would definitely go back once kids are 7/8/9ish as we felt that would be the best age to get the most out of all the activities.

We had fun. The slides are good. But we were expecting the be able to participate in the advertised attractions. The kids show runs once a week. The train and rides are not on every day. We were there 3 days and didn't get on any.The towels smell burnt, and the rooms are run down. E.g. paint bubbling, railing rotting.Ice skating was fun.

Great range of activities but pity you have to pay extra for most now. Lovely staff. Beds are hard. Recommend getting a renovated room as we didn't and ours was very dated and wasn't clean.

We had our first big holiday with our 5 year old daughter. And wow we had the most amazing time thanks to paradise resort. The rooms were great with daily room services making our beds and having fresh towels. The facilities with pools, AMAZING restaurant /cafes, fun activities. My daughterbloved the pamper parlour where she got her hair braided and also love making a sand candle and bath bomb. All of us, children and adults had fun and was relaxing. We also loved how close it was to cavil Avenue and to public transport to get to the theme parks.I would recommend this resort to any family.I'm going home to save to go back again asap :)Thank you paradise resort :)

Kids had a great time. Penguins breakfast was ample. A great place for families. It would be nice to have some common areas where families staying in separated rooms could come together- restaurant areas were very noisy.
