Volunteer

Volunteers are at the heart of The Arc; without volunteers we could accomplish very little.  Currently, we are seeking people to assist with various aspects of the organization. If you are interested and want to learn more, please contact us!
 
Current Volunteer Needs:

• Board members to assist with planning and implementing our programs and services to members and to the community.  Meetings are every other month.
• Persons to assist with organizing, shelving items, assisting customers, etc at our Homewares Center
• Persons to assist with registration, information table, etc at our School Inclusion Workshop Series
• Secretary to take and type up minutes at our bi-monthly Board meetings, send occasional letters, etc.
• Assistant Treasurer to assist the Treasurer; excellent learning opportunity for anyone wanting to gain experience in nonprofit financial management!
• Person to occasionally call members with a specific request or event notice
• Person to answer our phone messaging service on a regular basis.  This can be done from any home phone. 
• Creative, fun-loving people to help plan our parties and special events
